If technology doesn't seem like magic, it's probably obsolete

I'm finding less time to update my blog these days, but my flickr photostream is often updated.

Playing in my house right now...

At 00:00 GMT on Thursday I was listening to:

I now have my very own running vest, ready for some marathon wearing ... I hope!

When's your marathon? and which one, I'm sort of planning to do Tromso in mid June, but the training has so far been even less than when I did the last one when I was at least vaguely fit.

I'm aiming for Edinburgh, which is mid-June, too. I seem to be getting quite a few miles in, but not many long runs. Until you actually try to do a marathon, I don't think you realise what an undertaking it actually is, no matter what others tell you!

just make sure you get your name on your vest, so that everyone can cheer you on in those difficult last miles [i.e. all but the first 3]

Do you have martinlittle.com printed on there?

Allan, dwlt -- I'll need to work out a way to get something on there. I was certainly planning to get a martinlittle.com on there, as well as some Shelter advertising.

Thanks Eric! I'll see if I can find space on my vest to squeeze that on, too. Any thoughts of me wearing a robe and crown can be dismissed immediately, though ... unless someone is going to carry me for 26.2 miles. ;-)
